Privacy Policy changes on October 24
Posted October 16, 2026
Our Privacy Policy will change on October 24, 2026. We are adding to or correcting the Privacy Policy effective October 23, 2026, which we announced earlier, as set out below. Please review the details below.
■ When
From 00:00 on October 24, 2026 (Korea Standard Time)
■ Changes to the Privacy Policy
• 1. Purposes of Processing: Location-based features (confirming arrival at mission sites, showing the distance to spots, showing your location on the map, and showing your location to your party members during a party trip) and communication between members (party chat, friends, 1:1 messages, and a vlog that includes your companions' mission photos and text) are added to the purposes of processing.
• 2. Categories of Personal Data (Google login): We set out the information received from Google LLC when you log in with Google (your Google Account identifier, email address and whether it has been verified, name, and profile photo URL), and that when you first sign up, your name is saved as the initial value of your nickname and your profile photo URL is saved as your profile photo.
• 2. Categories of Personal Data (mission photos): We correct mission photos from "optional" to "required for photo missions", and set out that photo missions in the boss stage cannot be skipped (if uploading fails 3 times, you can upload later). We also set out that embedded photo information, such as the location where the photo was taken, is removed before photos are stored (GIF images attached to messages are stored as they are), and that a vlog shows the mission photos and text of companions who joined the same party room and checked in on the same region's course, together with the nicknames of the people who took the photos and wrote the text.
• 2. Categories of Personal Data (location and communication): We set out location information (the coordinates used to confirm arrival are used only for that decision and are not stored, and the distance to spots and your location on the map are calculated and shown on the device and are not sent to the Company's servers), party location sharing (sent every 30 seconds while the app is open on screen, with only the single most recent location stored, and shown on the maps of party members in the same room), records of location information use and provision (without coordinates), party chat (shown to members who joined the same room, excluding members who have left the room), game records and party display names, friends, 1:1 messages, and travel dates, budget and accommodation information in the travel planner.
• 2. Categories of Personal Data (app connection information): We set out the app version number that the app sends with every request (not stored), and that the browser information at the time you agree to the Terms and policies in the app is the app's connection information (User-Agent).
• 3. Retention Period: We set out the retention periods for location information (coordinates used to decide arrival are not stored, and the most recent location stored for party location sharing is deleted when the room ends or when you leave the room), records of location information use and provision (6 months — even if a member deletes their account, the records are kept separately until 6 months have passed and then deleted), party chat, 1:1 message text and attached photos, friend relationships, game records, text you write yourself and party display names, and the travel planner (plans not shared with other members are deleted on account deletion, and plans shared with fellow travelers are not deleted on account deletion and are handed over to a fellow traveler), as well as the address of the account deletion page, where you can see how to delete your account.
• 4. Sharing with Third Parties: We set out that while you travel as a party (in the same room), your location is shown on the maps of party members in the same room.
• 5. Data Processing Subcontractors: We are adding Google LLC (Google login, map display in the Android app, QR code scanning in the Android app) and Apple Inc. (Sign in with Apple, map display in the iPhone app), and set out that, in providing map display and QR code scanning, Google LLC may use some information in accordance with Google LLC's privacy policy.
• 6. Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data: We are adding the country, data, timing, purpose and retention period for transfers to Google LLC (Google login, map display in the Android app, QR code scanning) and Apple Inc. (disconnecting Sign in with Apple), and adding the member identifier (when logged in) to the data transferred to Upstash, Inc.
• 7. Your Rights: We are adding that, in the app, you can delete your account yourself from Settings → Delete account, and that even without signing in, you can see how to delete your account on the account deletion page.
• 8. Personal Data of Children Under 14: We are adding that children under 13 currently cannot complete sign-up (the procedure for children aged 13 or older but under 14 to sign up with the consent of a legal guardian stays the same).
• 9. Security Measures: We are adding the measure of removing embedded photo information before photos are stored.
• 10. Cookies and Automated Data Collection: We are adding that the app stores your login state and mission photos not yet uploaded in storage on the device.
Everything not listed above stays the same.
