A one-day course beginning at Kkotji Beach, the site of the tale, walking through "waiting" along the things that come and go without fail, like the sunset and the tide. 9 missions across the Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks of Kkotji, the Taean Rock-carved Buddha Triad, Anheung Fortress, the Sinduri Coastal Sand Dunes, Chollipo Arboretum, the Mallipo sunset, Taean Traditional Market, the jumbo shrimp of Baeksajang Port, and Mongsanpo clam kalguksu.”

First, choose a role. At every stop, whoever suits that place steps forward and opens the story. When you arrive, a character from the folktale speaks to you. Answer the quiz and finish the mission to win back a shard. Collect them all, and you close the story at the final place.
Long, long ago, in a seaside village on Anmyeondo Island, there lived a husband named Seung-eon and his wife, Mido, who cherished each other dearly. They were so devoted that even a single day apart would bring them to tears. One day, urgent word came for Seung-eon. It was an order to lead the naval forces to the battlefield at once. The husband boarded the boat, leaving behind only one short promise: "I'll be back soon." From that day on, Mido climbed the hill every day, gazed out at the sea, and waited for nothing but her husband's return. Even as the sun set and the moon grew full, her waiting never ended. And so long years went by, until Mido breathed her last in that very spot and became a rock. Today, Mido has come to find you, traveler, carrying the heart she held the day the old man left. Today, you will listen in her place to the heart that was never called out.

Have a spread of jumbo shrimp (or seasonal seafood) on Baeksajang's shrimp street. While eating, recall something that's all the more welcome after a whole year's wait.
